Metamodel
A metamodel is containing a set of Objecttypes and Relationshiptypes that can be used for building models. It contains the building blocks for AKM models and represent the language for building models.
Model
A model is a set of objects and relationships that can be used in AKM.
Objecttype
An objecttype is a class that can be used in AKM models.
Relationshiptype
A relationshiptype is a relationship between two objecttypes.
